MAINS
JUNIOR ENTERPRISE
JA Junior Enterprise is a program that provides students with hands-on entrepreneurial experience by guiding them through the process of creating and running their own small business. It focuses on empowering students to develop essential skills such as business planning, teamwork, financial management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
JA OUR COMMUNITY
Gives students practical information about businesses and the many jobs those businesses offer in a community. Students explore production methods through a simulation game, and they learn about taxes, decision making, and how money flows in the economy.
JA MORE THAN MONEY
Teaches students about earning, spending, sharing, and saving money. It also identifies jobs students can perform to earn money. Students play a game to learn money-management skills and to better understand the role and importance of money in their lives.
CHA-CHING CURRICULUM
Encourages students to use critical thinking to make decisions on how they manage their money in their daily life. Students develop a better understanding of the relationship between what they learn in this program and their roles in a worldwide economy.
OTHERS
JA OUR NATION
Introduces students to the need for entrepreneurial and innovative thinking to meet the needs of today’s high-growth, high-demand careers. Students are exposed to how the free market system serves as an economic engine for business and careers through interactive sessions.

Uses compelling stories read aloud in sessions, along with hands - on activities to demonstrate helping, working, earning and saving

Emphasizes the roles people play in the local economy and engages students with activities about needs, wants, jobs, tools, skills and interdependence

Studies careers, the skills people need to work in specific careers, and how businesses contribute to a city.

Introduces the relationship between the natural, human, and capital resources found in different regions and explores regional businesses that produce goods and services for consumers.
